This Ministerial Policy Statement covers Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF –Vote 010); and its semi-autonomous bodies, the Diary Development Authority (DDA)- Vote 121; the National Agricultural Research Organization (NARO) – Vote 142); the National Agricultural Advisory Services (Secretariat) together with the NAADS Districts (NAADS – Vote 152) Production Services, in –Vote 500 - 850); The Cotton Development Organization (CDO) – Vote 155); and the Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA –Vote 160) for the Financial Year (FY) 2011/12.

The National Oil and Gas Policy was formulated after a very wide consultation process which involved review of petroleum policies of many oil producing countries, discussions within different institutions of Government, Local Authorities and Cultural Institutions especially those in areas with the potential for petroleum production in the Country, Civil Society and the academia, among others.
